Mobile Boiler Rental

We operate a complete fleet of mobile boilers ranging from 40 HP to 2,200 HP, including well-known brands such as Cleaver Brooks, Powermaster, Volcano, Hurst, Superior, W&D Boilers and HC Vidal. Our units cover pressure ranges from 10 to 350 PSI.

We also offer mobile heat exchangers (up to 500 HP) for all types of hot-water applications.

Our boilers are always serviced as soon as they are returned and made available again for their next assignment. In an emergency, a unit can be on your site within a few hours depending on your location. Whether in Montreal, Quebec City, Alberta or Nova Scotia, we treat emergencies as they deserve.

For planned projects, we strongly recommend booking in advance, especially as the cold season approaches.

Rental is the ideal solution in the following situations:

  • Breakdown or failure of your main boiler
  • Mandatory annual inspection (RBQ) — maintaining production during downtime
  • Maintenance or renovation work on your boiler room
  • Planned plant shutdown
  • Temporary capacity overload (production peak, extreme cold)
  • Construction or expansion project requiring a temporary source of steam or hot water

Yes. Our rental program is flexible and adapts to your needs. We offer short-term rental options (starting from one month) as well as long-term rentals (6 to 12 months, 1 year or more), with attractive discounts for extended commitments.

Discuss your situation with our team: we will recommend the formula best suited to your operational needs and your budget.

Absolutely. We offer a turnkey solution, from installation to start-up. Our team takes charge of the entire process: connections, checks, pressurization and start-up. We also manage all required documentation and certifications. All you have to do is resume your production.

Industrial Water Treatment

We cover all industrial and commercial HVAC systems with three distinct programs:

  • ECOSTEAM — Steam boiler water treatment: prevention of scale, corrosion and deposits
  • ECOTOWER — Cooling tower water treatment: bacteriological control (Legionella), scale, corrosion
  • ECOLOOP — Thermal treatment of closed loops (closed heating and cooling circuits)

Boiler water treatment is essential to ensure the safety, performance and durability of your equipment.

Poorly treated water can lead to scaling, corrosion, deposit formation and system contamination, which reduces the boiler’s energy efficiency and increases the risk of breakdowns, unplanned shutdowns and costly repairs.

A good treatment program keeps water parameters under control, protects heat-exchange surfaces, optimizes energy consumption and extends the life of the boiler.

At EcowaterLab, we provide regular monitoring with analyses, dosage adjustments and recommendations to keep your systems running properly.

The Legionella pneumophila bacterium develops in cooling towers when three conditions are present: a temperature between 25 °C and 45 °C, the presence of biofilm or organic deposits, and the absence of adequate chemical treatment.

In Quebec, for water cooling towers, the RBQ requires a Legionella pneumophila analysis at a maximum frequency of 30 days during the installation’s normal service period. The RBQ also requires the implementation of a maintenance program including a water-quality maintenance procedure, in order to limit bacterial growth and ensure rigorous control of water treatment.

With our ECOTOWER program, we help you manage these risks proactively through structured monitoring, tailored treatments and documentation compliant with applicable requirements.

Yes. Our products are formulated without toxic components and comply with the environmental standards applicable in Quebec.

Our ECOSTEAM and ECOLOOP lines are designed from plant-based, biodegradable formulations, notably based on purified tannins. The main active ingredients of ECOSTEAM/ECOLOOP come from pure extracts of natural materials that are biodegradable and environmentally safe.

In addition, our products are Kosher-approved and can be used in the food and beverage industries.

Our approach is comprehensive, structured and ongoing. We begin with an analysis of your water quality as well as an assessment of the components and equipment of your system. Based on this data, we develop a customized treatment program tailored to your facilities and operational objectives.

Afterwards, our technicians provide periodic follow-up including on-site analyses, dosage adjustments, equipment checks and the production of detailed reports.

All reports are accessible at all times through our online client portal: ecowaterlab-reports.com.

Yes. In addition to our treatment programs, we supply test kits and reagents allowing your teams to check the main water parameters directly on site, such as pH, conductivity, hardness and residual biocide.

These field checks ensure regular monitoring between our technical visits and complement the professional analyses carried out periodically by our technicians.

Maintenance and Technical Services

Yes. Our certified power engineers can work on your site on an occasional or periodic basis, according to your needs.

They provide monitoring, preventive maintenance and diagnostics of your boiler room equipment, including steam or hot-water boilers, burners and softeners. They perform boiler and softener water tests to ensure proper monitoring of water quality.

Their intervention makes it possible to quickly detect anomalies and prevent problems before they become major breakdowns. A visit report is provided after each intervention to ensure clear, documented follow-up.

We also offer a power engineer replacement service for short or long periods, according to your operational needs.

We offer a complete range of maintenance, inspection and repair services for boiler room equipment and pressure vessels. Our services notably include:

Certifications and Compliance

EcowaterLab Solutions holds several certifications and affiliations that attest to our professionalism and expertise:

  • AWT (Association of Water Technologies) — recognized member in industrial water treatment
  • CMEQ (Corporation des maîtres électriciens du Québec)
  • CMMTQ (Corporation des maîtres mécaniciens en tuyauterie du Québec)
  • APCHQ (Association des professionnels de la construction et de l’habitation du Québec)
  • Kosher Certification — for food-industry clients with strict requirements
  • ContractorCheck — compliance verification for major project owners

Yes. EcowaterLab is one of the few HVAC water treatment providers in Quebec to hold a Kosher certification. This means that our chemical products and intervention protocols comply with the strictest requirements for purity and food safety.

We support industrial bakeries, beverage producers, food packaging plants and other food-industry companies subject to certification audits.

Yes. We can support you in setting up and monitoring a maintenance program compliant with RBQ requirements for water cooling towers.

In Quebec, the regulations require that each installation have a suitable maintenance program, including procedures for maintaining water quality, cleaning, restarting and decontamination, as well as measures to limit corrosion, scaling and the accumulation of organic matter.

The RBQ also requires monitoring of Legionella pneumophila concentration, with analyses performed by an accredited laboratory at a maximum frequency of 30 days during the normal service period, as well as at restart and after decontamination.

Our program helps you structure your procedures, ensure bactericidal treatment, carry out the required follow-ups, document interventions and keep your records up to date in order to reduce microbiological risks and facilitate your regulatory compliance.

Client Portal and Follow-up

The EcowaterLab client portal, accessible at ecowaterlab-reports.com, is a secure online platform that gives you access at all times to the analysis and monitoring reports for your systems.

There you can consult the history of interventions, water and Legionella analysis results, our team’s recommendations as well as the performance indicators of your equipment, from any device.

After each visit, our technicians’ reports are automatically sent to the client to facilitate follow-up, review and documentation of the interventions performed.

The frequency of visits is determined based on your equipment, the complexity of your system, your operating conditions and your regulatory obligations.

For cooling towers, visits may be carried out on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis, depending on the site’s needs and the level of monitoring required.

For steam boilers, the visit frequency must take into account the applicable regulatory requirements, notably according to the type of appliance, its capacity and its mode of operation.

For closed hot-water or cold-water loops, monthly visits are generally recommended to ensure proper monitoring of water quality and correct operation of the system.

A tailored program will be established with you during our initial assessment.
